Course computers with Nitrox

Nitrox is a breathing gas that has a number of benefits for both new and experienced divers. This course will cover the use of nitrox mixtures with 22 to 40 percent oxygen.

This course is for:

• The certified diver looking to advance their knowledge and skill
• The certified diver looking to expand their no-decompression time limits

Course prerequisites:

• Minimum age 18 years, 10 with guardians' consent.
• SNSI Open Water Scuba Diver, SNSI Junior Open Water Scuba Diver, equivalent or currently enrolled in these courses

What you can expect to learn:

• Physiology of using different breathing gas mixtures and equipment considerations for using nitrox
• How to safely use nitrox mixes up to 40 percent with a dive computer
• Advantages and disadvantages of using nitrox mixtures and how to analyze a nitrox mixture

Minimum requirements of Computers with Nitrox SNSI :

• 100 percent understanding of the questions and answers at the end of each chapter of the SNSI Nitrox Computer Diving Course
• Analyze at least two nitrox cylinders
• Register at least one nitrox cylinder
• Program a nitrox computer with a mix between 22 to 40 percent oxygen
