Baptism Diving (Scuba Discovery)
The Scuba Discovery Program gives you a glimpse of what you can expect when experiencing the underwater world, as well as what you might expect to learn on the Open Water Scuba Diver course.
During this experience program, you will go through basic safety and procedures for an enjoyable dive under the watchful eye of an SDI Instructor.
You'll learn skills such as: equalizing your ears, buddy checking, basic buoyancy control, underwater communication, and more. You'll also get an introduction to basic scuba equipment followed by an underwater tour of the local pool or marine environment.
Target Audience:
- Those who would like to experience the underwater world
- Those who would like an introductory scuba course before enrolling in the Open Water Scuba Diver course
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age 18 years, 10 years with parental consent
- Demonstrate proper swimming skills and comfort in the water
- Completing the medical application
- Signature of the contract signed by the parents and/or guardian
What you will learn:

- Pre Dive Check
- Weight removal on the surface
- Equalization of the ears
- Use of buoyancy device (BCD)

- Breathing, Purging and Recovery
- mask clearing
- Underwater swimming: proper use of fins
- computer use
- The use of instruments
- underwater communications
