Children aged 8 to 12 who wish to experience the underwater world with a parent/legal guardian, or may be wishing to pursue a career that will involve the underwater world as a marine biologist, marine archaeologist, oceanographer(a), fillmmaker and /or Underwater photographer and inspectors
Course prerequisites:
Minimum age 8 with parental consent
Demonstrate proper comfort and swimming skills
Completing the medical application and submitting a medical certificate
Signature of the contract signed by the parents and/or guardian.

Required skills must be performed in pool / confined water only, with a maximum depth of 6 meters / 20 feet:
Proper ballast system adjustment
Own and double pre-dive check
Partial Shutdown Mask
Use of buoyancy device (BCD)
buoyancy control
regulatory use
Underwater swimming; proper use of fins
The use of meters
underwater communications
What's there for you?
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to conduct diving activities without direct supervision of the SNSI Instructor*, as long as the following limits are respected:
Diving activities approach those of training
Areas of activities approximate those of training
Environmental conditions approximate those of training
Future Buddies SNSI Diver minimum requirements:
Fulfill all aquatic requirements safely and efficiently
Satisfactorily complete course knowledge reviews
Demonstrate mature judgment and common sense in relation to dive planning and execution.
